Need a present for your role playing enemies? Try these CURSED DICE!

In order to maximize the bad luck of these dice, 13 superstitious activities were performed in the preparation of our ‘These Dice Are Cursed’ sets. Get a set of dice to give to your Dungeon Master in order to give your party the edge. Or give a set to your gaming opponents and watch the victories fly in! We’ve done our best to make these the most unlucky dice possible by selecting timeless superstitious and bad luck practices from both Western and Eastern cultures – cats, mirrors, bad fortune Feng shui, salt and much more. And we chose 13 of them just to be safe!

Broken Mirror

This one’s a classic – we broke ours on Jan. 10th, 2024, so we’re good until 2031.

Shoes on Table

From the North of England, placing your shoes on a table is very bad luck. When a miner died in an accident, his shoes were placed on the table out of respect. So putting your shoes on a table was tempting fate. We’re using our messy Vessies.

Cactus Indoors

In Feng Shui tradition, a cactus indoors brings negative energy into the home.

Each d20 Set to 13

We debated setting the dice to 1 instead, but 13 seemed the most appropriate.

Open Scissors, but Didn’t Cut Anything

In the Middle East, it is unlucky to open scissors and close them without cutting anything.

Black Cat Crossed Our Path

We don’t have a real black cat , so this one will have to do (we affectionately named him Gigi).

Chipped Plate

In Feng Shui, plates and pots are symbols of wealth and prosperity. Having a chipped plate in your home is risking financial problems.

Dice on a Green Surface

Green was considered an unlucky colour in Medieval Europe.

Broken Clock

A broken clock can be a bad omen in Feng shui. Time-keeping tools should be in working order, otherwise you risk becoming stuck in a rut.

Umbrella Indoors

Another classic.

Salt on Table

May go back to spilled salt in front of Judas during the Last Supper. Overall, spilling salt is bad news in many western traditions

Dice in Hat on Unmade Bed

Might be an old cowboy superstition of not putting your hat on the bed, but this one is pretty common across a number of western cultures.

And finally, we whistled indoors while packaging the dice.
